Lesson 9 “If Music Be the Food of Love”

2nd- Learn Music: Tenor/Bass “If Music Be the Food of Love (20 minutes)

  • Measure 1-38, Learn with the piano voice part.
  • Find all recording tracks, PDF and voicings here:  https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10k2Q6Y8VYTfQE62lUv2bE5gMAW0ufjqR?usp=sharing (CHECK YOUR VOICE PART-you might be singing a different part). Again, there’s always a reason. 🙂
  • Once you feel you have it down with the piano voice part, practice with the accompaniment track.
  • DUE in on week (April 27th): Record measure 1-38and submit on Canvas (Lesson 7 “If Music Be the Food of Love” Recording 1-38). This can be recorded with either the accompaniment track of the piano voice track. No acapella

  • Once you feel you have it down with the piano voice part, practice with the accompaniment track.
  • DUE in one week (April 27th): Record measure 39-80, and submit on Canvas (Lesson 7 “If Music Be the Food of Love” Recording 38-80). This can be submitted and recorded with either the accompaniment track of the piano voice track-no acapella.

Overall: You should be submitting TWO recordings on Canvas and FOUR Sight-Reading exercises assignments on SRF.
