TMEA All-Region Concert and Clinic is just around the corner. Please read the information regarding the Who, What, When, Where, and Why!
Who: All HS students who have made All-Region, District and 9/10 Honor Choirs
What: HS All-Region 5 Concert and Clinic
When: Saturday, November 13, 2021
Where: Arlington ISD Center for Performing Arts
900 E. Sanford Arlington, TX 76011
Time: Leaving GPFAA @ 7:00 am
Returning: We do not have a set time, we are hoping this day will be done no later than 7:00 pm. It could be earlier or later. We will not be providing a bus on the way back from concert. Please make arrangements to pick your student up after the concert. If you are needing to get in touch with your student, please message/call Lily Tredemeyer, Guild Events Coordinator. Permission Slips: If you already filled out a permission slip for the retreat, you do not need to fill another one. We have one permission slip per semester. VERY IMPORTANT: If you are taking your student from AISD Center for Performing Arts, you will need to fill out the additional permission called “Alternate Student Travel Form.” Please fill out the form on-line via your www.gpfaavm.com account no later than Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Please remember that alternate student travel forms need to be filled out every single time a student does not use district-provided transportation. (This is a district rule!)
Transportation: district school bus. Only providing TO concert, not for returning.
What to bring: original music, black binder, student ID (for bus), snacks, water, pencil, paper clips, highlighter, concert attire, concert clothes in GPFAA VM garment bag– labeled with the student’s name.
Lunch: Babe’s Chicken will be provided and has already been PAID for. If your student has any diet restrictions, please have them bring their own lunch for the day.
Attire: Clinic attire is NEW GPFAA VM Shirt & Jeans (we are hoping to receive a NEW VM t-shirt before the event) and concert attire is formal Tux/Dress. Parents, your student should have their formal attire. Please double check to make sure the tux pants and dresses have been hemmed. Most are hemmed, but minor adjustment may need to be made before the concert. This will be their formal attire for the year.
Those wearing Dresses: garment bag, black dress, black opaque knee high nylons, black formal character shoes. No personal jewelry or bracelets of any type will be worn.
Those wearing Tux: vm garment bag, black tux shirt, black vest, black bowtie, black tux jacket, black tux pants, dress socks, black shinny tux shoes.
Vocal Music Fees: If you have not already paid for your vocal music fee, please do so asap. Click here to pay and read more about the fees. We will be distributing the t-shirts to the student who have paid the first two payments.
Tickets: free – but tickets are required to enter the event; get up to 3 reserved tickets ASAP!
- The Region concert is a ticketed event.
- THREE reserved tickets per student are available before the link becomes public.

- On Tuesday, November 9th, at 1 pm, the link becomes public and anyone will be able to purchase/reserve TWO additional tickets.
- Concert starts at 5 pm. Doors open to the public at 4:30 pm.

Point of Contact: Lily Tredemeyer, Guild Events Coordinator will be the parent you will contact if you need to get a hold of your student or have any questions on clinic and concert day. You can reach her @ (214) 415-2111. Student will not have their phones during rehearsals. We will try hard to give students their phone during their lunch time, but students will check phones back in after lunch.
Snack Donations: We have enough from Round 1 & 2 competitions and retreat! We would like to thank those who were able to give for these days!
