SWACDA National Honor Choir – Audition Opportunity!!
What: SWACDA Regional-National Honor Ensemble
All about SWACDA Honor Choir: SWACDA represents the top-performing high school musicians in the Southwestern part of the United States.
Who can audition? ANY 9-12 grade Vocal students.
What are the requirements?
- Vocalization and range demonstration(Scale) performed a cappella.
- America (My Country ‘Tis of Thee)
- Contest Style Solo excerpt. Excerpts performed must include a maximum of 60 seconds of singing.
Deadline to submit? October 10, 2021
If I make it, where will I perform? This year, the performance/conference will be held in Little Rock, Arkansas. Each student will need to plan on providing their own expense. Fundraiser opportunities will be available for this!!
Is there a cost? There is a $25 application fee. Do not let this fee keep you from auditioning. If this is a challenge, please reach out to Mr. Duarte.
