TMEA All-State Choir Round One Auditions
Parents of High School Vocal Music Students:
We are only a few days away from Round 1 of the All-State Audition process! Vocal Music High School students have been sent individual links that they will use to sign in to record their All-State auditions when the cuts come out on Saturday (October 10th). Please ensure that your student takes the time to check the link and familiarize themselves with the layout of the website before the cuts come out.
There will be a TMEA All-State Cut Reveal via zoom at 9:30 a.m. on October 10th, 2020. All High School students are encouraged to attend. We will work on critical notes on the cuts, and it will be a time for the students to see each other and experience the cut reveal together!
It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that the students record at GPFAA with our TMEA approved equipment! We want to make sure their best recording is submitted. As of now we have the dates set for next Tuesday AND Wednesday for campus recordings (10/13, 10/14). We will be following strict social distancing guidelines and taking precautions to ensure the safety of all of the students during the recording process. If for any reason your Vocal Music student is unable to come to the school to make their recording please let Mr. Duarte (joel.duarte@gpisd.org ) know by this Thursday (10/8) at 3:30PM.
Please help us to ensure that your student watches the official TMEA All-State video on how to submit a recording. We also encourage parents to watch it so that they are familiar with the recording process.
