Voice Lessons-Sign Up Today !!

Dear Parent and Students,

Welcome back to our returning students and a special shout out to our new vocal music students!! We are excited to again offer you the opportunity to study voice in private lessons this year! The All-State, and UIL Solo & Ensemble Contests will be here before you know it so now is the time to start preparing for those auditions. We are looking forward to a very strong presence at these competitions. At this time, voice instruction is offered as 30-minute, virtual lessons via zoom once a week. The limited number of lesson times will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you would like to participate in this program, it is important that you respond in a timely manner. Last year we had a waiting list, so please do not wait to sign up.

Why should my student take Voice Lessons?  Investing in music is a wise decision. Studying music can reap many benefits, including greater performance in the choral program, successful competition in the Region/All-State Choir program, earning scholarship money for college, and provide personal enjoyment and fulfillment. It is important to pursue the things you love to do, so if you want to be a part of this wonderful opportunity, you should strongly consider enrolling in private lessons.

How much are lessons?  We have a GREAT and INEXPENSIVE price for voice lessons. The cost to participate in this program is $18 per lesson. All payments should be made directly to the instructor. Each month should be paid in full prior to or at the time of the first lesson. Your voice instructor will give you more information on method(s) of payment.  It is the student’s/parent’s responsibility to stay current on their payments. No lessons will be given until the month’s payment has been received, and after two weeks of non- payment the lesson time will be forfeited. If you should need to miss a lesson for any reason, please give advanced notice to the instructor so that you can be credited for the lesson or schedule a make-up lesson. In case of illness, please contact the choir office as soon as possible to notify the voice instructor.

How do I sign up? If you would like to participate in private lessons, please click here  to complete and submit the survey to reserve your place in the voice studio (if you have not yet completed the voice lesson survey, please complete and submit it even if you are not interested in attending voice lessons). Once your place is reserved, we will schedule you for your lesson time, and your voice instructor will contact you with further instructions.

Everyone, please respond! Again, please fill out the survey via the link above whether or not you are interested in attending voice lessons. If you are not sure about voice lessons or if you have questions about the voice lessons, please feel free to contact us.

We look forward to working with you this year!
